Reflecting the ambience of nature and the mysteries of life, Steve Wickenton's music plays like his truest biography.

Once better known as front man for Rock/Pop band Liquifase, Steve found the need to showcase his music and ideas on a more personal level. By letting go of the costumes, stage shows, and effects that bound him to a rock and roll stage presence, Steve now stands strong as pure acoustic talent of the Folk/Pop genre.

By burying the mask and revealing his true self, Steve's music has become more than a song. Now the passion is real and the emotion is amplified only by his inner soul.

Riding on the huge success of his debut solo CD "Within Now" that paved way for a string of shows and events including opening act for The Sustainable Living Festival at Federation Square Melbourne, praising reviews and international recognition. Steve has released his second CD "Winter Almanac".

Winter Almanac is a collection of songs and music that celebrates winter and its energies. The music is striped back and wide open like a winter's night. Replicating more of a live sound rather than the studio sound heard on "Within Now"

Along with the release of "Winter Almanac", Steve has added mandolin and slide guitar to his live shows, and now on occasions performs with other musicians and singers in a duo style.

Over the next 8 months Steve will be performing and promoting his CDs, while continuing to write and record for his 3rd project due out in late 2004.
